Welcome back to Citizen Forty Four Vietnam with Mark Arinsberg! Today, I’m excited to have Minh Ngoc Bui Thi on this very first episode of 2025. Minh Ngoc is a certified sex coach, transformational coach, and social entrepreneur who's making waves in Vietnam with her bold approach to sexual health, education, and empowerment. From founding Green Lady Vietnam to becoming the country's first certified sex coach, Minh Ngoc's journey is all about breaking taboos and fostering open conversations. As a true pioneer in this particular field of mental health, Minh Ngoc is paving the way for the Vietnamese people to gain a better understanding of sexual related issues and how to have healthier relationships with themselves and their potential partners while living more fulfilling lives.

Also on this episode, I’m thrilled to introduce you to the love of my life, Trang (Chang) Nuyen who I met three months ago in the middle of the street in Truc Bach (Hanoi, Vietnam). She’s a wonderful woman who belongs to an organization called Better Home who serve the needs of struggling children and families in Dalat, Vietnam. Trang just launched her new online retail clothing store called ELORA which you can check out on Facebook. She imports high-quality brand name fashion and is currently having a big sale with discounts of 10% to 50% off with an additional 10% off when you mention the Citizen Forty Four Vietnam podcast. She also has a very cute coffee shop called Trang Boutique/Healing Land in Truc Bach located at 8 Nguyen Khac Hieu in Truc Bach (0902 246 568).

As a special guest on this episode, I made a very early morning telephone call to my long time friend Patrick Grasso in Los Angeles who has been on his heels ready to evacuate at any moment as devastating forest fires have come within two miles of his apartment near the Hollywood Hills. I’ve been closely following this unprecedented disaster as I was born in Southern California and have family and friends there. It is the worst natural disaster in the history of Los Angeles that now surpasses the Northridge earthquake which happened right around this time in 1994.
Four photos below taken by Patrick from the roof of his apartment in Hollywood.
