Happy Valentine’s Day! On this episode, I have an inspiring chat with Vietnamese food and beverage entrepreneur and philanthropist Minh Lee. After four years living in San Diego, California seeking to improve his life with an education in the states, Minh returned to Hanoi, Vietnam to begin his now very successful career thanks to an uncle who offered him an opportunity of a lifetime. Now, sixteen years later Minh has built a great life for himself and has taken his good fortune to give back to his community through developing a non-profit organization, Badinh Cares that centers around basketball, the game he loves so much. His generosity includes providing financial aid and infrastructure development geared towards helping individuals, families and communities in need. He takes great pleasure in being able to support his Vietnamese brothers and sisters who are less fortunate or find themselves in unfavorable situations.

Also on the this episode is my adorable daughter Zoë who had not been on the podcast for a very long time. We had a stimulating and fun conversation that included some relatively uncomfortable aspects of life currently in America under the new administration as well as some sweet stories about her exciting new life as an elementary school teacher in Oregon. It was great to catch up with her and find out how her life is going. My dream is for her as well as her brother Sam to one day come visit me in Vietnam and see why I love my life here so much.
Also on this very special Valentines’s Day episode, I enjoyed a fantastic conversation with my beloved Sabrina (the witch) where we shared some of why we’re so well suited for each other and the miracle of finding each other in such a profoundly romantic way in a world where technology has seemingly disconnected humanity more than its promise of connection. A true blessing that we both are so grateful for. I look forward to spending this holiday of love with her this evening. Lucky, lucky me. Wow.
